How to Activate SMS in Your Bookr Account
Effective communication with customers is essential to the success of your business. With Bookr, you can turn on SMS notifications to send confirmations, reminders, and other important information about your appointments. Here's how you can activate this function step by step.
1. Access your Bookr account
Open the Bookr app and log in with your credentials.
2. Go to the SMS section
- Go to Settings from the navigation bar.
- Select Payments.
- Find and access the option Text Messages (SMS).
3. Enable SMS notifications
- You will see a button to activate SMS notifications.
- Toggle the button to activate this function.
4th. Choose who can send SMS (new!)
If you have a team, you can now decide who can send SMS notifications. Before, all staff members sent SMS automatically, but now you can only choose certain people.
- Go to Settings > Text Messages (SMS) > Choose staff members.
- Selects people who can send SMS notifications.
- Saves settings.
5. Select the types of SMS notifications (new!)
Previously, SMS was sent automatically for all types of notifications. Now you have control over them and you can choose exactly which messages to send to your customers.
- Go to Settings > Text Messages (SMS) > Choose notification types.
- Choose from the available options:
- New programming
- Cancelled appointment
- Modified programming
- Programming reminder
- Saves the changes.
